The Merrow 70-D3B-2 CNP features a 100% nickel plated machine; specially designed for WET environments. The 70-D3B-2 CNP will not rust or corrode in wet and caustic sewing environments, making it perfect for dyeing and finishing facilities.

While the Merrow 70-D3B-2 CNP is designed to sew in harsh environments, it produces the same flat butted seam that made the 70-D3B-2 the industry standard for end-to-end seaming. Will stand up to bleaching, mercerising, dyeing and much more, often providing dozens of years of uninterrupted service.

The 70-D3B-2 CNP familiar cam-not-piston drive producing faster, quieter operation and durability. Sews thousands of different material types such as woven fabric, knit fabric, terry towel, denim, technical textiles and nonwovens. Exceptionally well sewing on mid-weight woven fabrics, performing well on a huge number of materials from vulcanized rubber to fiberglass to insulation. 75+ different needle plates and feed dogs enables modification of 5/8″ stitch to accommodate more demanding fabrics. 2250 RPM operating speed, 4 – 12 SPI, stitch type 501, using standard needle Merrow 8SDT (Needle range: 3SDT – 8SDT). Requires 1725 RPM, 60Hz, 1/2 HP, 110 or 220 volts, 1 or 3 phase motor.
